Outdoor silos are generally suitable for a space-saving storage of grain and other bulk materials. The silos are designed to withstand weather conditions outside and therefore expensive hall construction is not necessary. Our outdoor silos are corrosion-resistant, durable and watertight. As standard, we can deliver storage capacities of 50 -5000 tons per silo with a bulk density of 0.78 t/m³ (e.g. wheat) – larger quantities on request. We provide outdoor silos with flat bottom (for maximum use of space) or with discharge hopper at an incline (32°/45°/60°) depending on the material properties. Therefore our TAS are suitable in the grain sector both as drying cell (final storage) and as wet cell (intermediate storage before drying). Temperature monitoring over the entire height ensures that the grain is not damaged during storage.
In addition to the application as grain silo, our outdoor storage technology has been successfully used in the plastics industry and brewery technology for many years. Particularly in highly automated process chains, we offer the advantage of being able to produce the loading and also the emptying of the silos, so that the entire plant technology including the control system comes from one source.
